She joined our Olympia office in 1999 after serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Ecology Division. While at the Attorney General's Office, Tanya was the lead attorney for the Department of Ecology's Nuclear Waste Program, overseeing the cleanup of the Hanford Site. She also advised the Department of Ecology about compliance with the most complex aspects of hazardous waste management and water quality. Tanya graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law, where she was selected to Order of the Coif and was Associate Editor for the Oregon Law Review. A Phi Beta Kappa, she received her B.A. with Distinction from the University of Iowa.
